About the Business

A teenager fighting cancer was given a special treat this weekend as a VIP guest as Osfest.

Theo Flint, 16, from Bayston Hill, near Shrewsbury, enjoyed the festival along with his family thanks to a Shropshire company who gave him tickets. The teenager has faced many challenges in his short life and was diagnosed with Neurofibromastosis Type 1 and autism when he was 18 months old. He also suffers from several other challenging conditions. He received a further setback in April last year when he was diagnosed with cancer in the brain. Despite his illness Theo makes the most of opportunities such as being the mascot at a recent Shrewsbury Town football match and going behind the scenes at the club.

The story of his visit to the Greenhous Meadow in the Shropshire Star was read by Steve Hirons, director of Technical Services Shropshire, based in Shrewsbury.
