APS Security & Fire is based between Nottingham and Derby on the M1/A52 corridor, strategically located to serve our customers as effectively as possible. We have been operating in the East Midlands for over 15 years. During this time our company has grown in stature such that it now stands as one of the most prominent providers of fire and security services in the region.

We design, install monitor and maintain intruder and fire alarms, Close Circuit Television (CCTV) and Access Control Systems to commercial and industrial businesses, public sector premises and domestic homes across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire area.

Our company is BS EN ISO9001 quality accredited. Additionally we have numerous accreditation's from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold Approval for all the services we offer. The British Approval for Fire Equipment (BAFE) SP 203 Scheme, certified to design, install, commission and maintain fire alarm systems.

The activation of an Intruder Alarm Detector can initiate a signal to the CCTV system to control a camera or cameras to be redirected to a new point of interest, whilst simultaneously sending a control signal to the Access Control System to raise road barriers for access to the site by police. A central monitoring station can view the site remotely and communicate with any offenders if required.

APS Security & Fire are accredited with NSI Gold and BAFE certifications for the design, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Current UK law requires companies that employ five or more people, must have an up-to-date fire risk assessment in place. This assessment should outline the safety measures which have been applied in the workplace to safeguard people and property including fire doors and alarm systems. It is also good practice for those companies with less than five employees to have a fire safety protocol.

We work with a range of alarms from conventional to voice evacuation and visual warning systems. Our fully qualified engineers will survey your premises and advise you on the best system to suit your needs.
